The following on-line Patient Access services will be unavailable from 1st May to 2nd July:

Ordering repeat prescriptions, booking appointments, sending electronic messages, changing address details and registering as a new patient.

Please phone our prescription line 9.30am-12.30pm Monday to Friday on the above numbers option 2, alternatively you can e-mail kingst.prescriptions@nhs.net or order in person at either site in writing.

To register as a new patient you must visit the surgery.

After the 2nd July 2018, patients who wish to use the Patient Access on-line services will be required to re-register for this service, by visiting reception at King Street Surgery or at another of the Hereford Medical Group sites with a form of ID.  We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.  We would like to thank you for your understanding and patience during our merger process.

Test Results

In the course of treating your illness you will often have blood or other tests arranged by your doctor. The results are rarely available immediately. Blood results can take 1-14 days depending on their nature and X-ray and scan results can take 7-14 days to arrive after the test. Cervical smear results may take several weeks to arrive at present.

You can obtain your test results by telephoning the surgery between 1pm - 4pm, or by viewing your results in your medical record via the EMIS Access website. A normal result will be reported directly to you. If the result is abnormal, you will be advised to discuss this with your doctor. Please note that our Reception staff are not medically trained and are unable to discuss more complex details relating to your results.

Please note for reasons of confidentiality we are unable to discuss any medical details with anyone other than the patient concerned, unless we have written permission.

EMIS Access

Your results are now viewable as part of your medical record summary through the EMIS Access Website - if you have not registered to use this service , which also includes on-line prescription ordering and appointment booking, please contact Reception. you will need to provide 2 forms of ID.
